Having fibromyalgia made me pay attention to the parts of bras that are often treated as normal: wires, labels, scratchy fabric and pressure.

I designed my patterns around soft organic cotton, flexible fit and support from the cut of the bra rather than rigid components. The aim is to remove avoidable discomfort while being honest that the correct size and style still matter.

There are no underwires and no scratchy labels. Coverage, band shape and support vary between styles, so I would rather help you choose than pretend one bra works for everyone.

Every bra is crafted from soft, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified organic cotton with no underwire or scratchy seams, giving you gentle support that works with your body. Great for size fluctuations, including pregnancy, post-birth, perimenopause and chronic illness.

Each bra is handmade to order in the UK and Europe using Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified organic cotton, making it a sustainable choice for your everyday wardrobe. A true independent UK lingerie brand and an ethical alternative to Molke, Lucy & Yak and Lemonade Dolls, but entirely our own.

Choose your colour or print

I make the comfort bras in everyday black, white and nude shades, alongside a changing range of Designed by Debz, Wilde Mode and artist-collaboration prints.

That includes florals, animals, books, fantasy artwork, gothic designs, pride prints and some gloriously rude NSFW options. The shape and comfort stay familiar, while the print can be as quiet or as bold as you want it to be.

Some fabrics are available only in small quantities. If you find a print you love but cannot see it in the size or bra style you need, ask me. I’ll tell you whether it can still be made.

Handmade after you order

Every bra is are made to order in your chosen size and print. This allows me to offer far more combinations than a normal mass-produced range, but it also means your bra will not dispatch immediately. I can also offer add ons and extras to your bra, giving you a truly custom fit.

Check the current turnaround before ordering, it can sometimes take a few weeks due to demand. If you need something sooner, look at the ready-to-wear collection or ask what is currently available.

Why it happens

Digging is not always caused by underwire. A band that is too small, cups that do not leave enough room, narrow elastic or a bra sitting in the wrong position can all create pressure. Underwire adds another rigid point that can press against the ribs or breast tissue.

How I’ve approached it

I leave the underwire out completely and use soft, stretchy organic cotton instead of rigid cups. The support comes from the pattern, band and fit of the bra.

The correct size still matters. Even a soft bra can press, roll or move when the band or cup size is wrong. Use my size calculator before ordering, or ask me if you are unsure.

Why it happens

Irritation can come from rough fabric, labels, bulky seams, heat, friction or elastic sitting against a sensitive area. A fabric that feels fine to one person can still be difficult for someone else to wear.

How I’ve approached it

My main comfort bras use soft, breathable organic cotton and do not have scratchy labels. I have kept unnecessary rigid elements out of the construction and paid attention to what sits against the skin.

The bras still contain seams and elastic, and sensory needs vary. If a particular area normally causes problems, ask me where the seams and elastic sit before choosing.

Bra sizing is inconsistent between brands. Cup size also changes with band size, so the same cup letter does not represent one fixed breast volume. Bodies can change through weight fluctuations, pregnancy, hormonal changes, illness and ageing.

My bras use their own patterns and are available across A-O cups and sizes 3XS-10XL. Start with my calculator rather than relying on the size printed inside another bra.
